Construction of Border-to-Border Trail Tunnel Path in Ann Arbor Could Start in 2023

ANN ARBOR, MI — A big missing link in the Border-to-Border Trail network in Ann Arbor could be addressed in the next couple years with a new tunnel pathway.
Plans are in the works to create an underpass for pedestrians and cyclists beneath the railroad tracks between Bandemer Park and the Barton Nature Area.
Construction could start as soon as 2023, said Peter Sanderson, Washtenaw County park planner.
